Why Enunda Academy?

Energy consumers, companies, and public authorities increasingly rely on energy attribute tracking to support renewable and low-carbon energy claims. These systems are shaped by many actors: policymakers, regulators, issuing bodies, registry operators, standards bodies, scheme operators, IT providers, and market participants.

Because energy origin tracking systems operate across legal, technical, operational, and international layers, maintaining a clear system-wide overview can be challenging. Even well-founded design choices may interact in unexpected ways across the system. This can create challenges for interoperability, transparency, the prevention of double-counting, and the credibility of claims.

The Enunda Academy creates a structured learning environment where system actors can build a shared understanding of these interdependencies and strengthen the way energy origin tracking systems are designed, governed, and operated.

The Enunda Academy is designed for professionals who are directly involved in the design, governance, implementation or coordination of energy origin tracking systems. This includes policy makers, regulators, issuing bodies, registry operators, disclosure authorities, standards and scheme professionals, certification bodies, registry and IT service providers, consultants, academics and other professionals working close to Energy Attribute Certificate or Guarantee of Origin systems.

The programme is especially relevant for people who want to better understand how legal, technical, operational and market design choices interact across the wider tracking system.

The exact time commitment will be confirmed when the first cohort programme is finalised. The founding cohort is expected to combine online foundation session(s), an in-person multi-day workshop, peer exchange and applied case work based on a participant’s own organisational context.

Participants should expect a structured expert-learning programme rather than a single webinar. The aim is to provide enough time for system-level understanding, practical discussion and application to real challenges from the participants’ own work.

The Enunda Academy is expected to use a blended format. The programme preview currently includes online foundation session(s), an in-person multi-day workshop, applied case work and cross-role peer learning.

This combination allows participants to build a common foundation online, while also creating space for deeper discussion, case-based learning and professional exchange during the in-person part of the programme.

Pricing and participation options have not yet been finalised. More information about programme fees, registration conditions and possible participation formats will be shared when the first cohort details are confirmed.
